Basketball Programming

Beginner & Intermediate Level

Our beginner and intermediate sessions emphasize ball handling, shooting techniques, layups, and overall body control. Athletes will engage in drills and exercises to build essential skills and confidence, including:

  • Warmup & Fundamentals: Ball-handling warmups, dribbling control, and small shots around the rim.
  • Layups & Shooting Techniques: Focus on form shooting, set shots, and finishing at the rim.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination & Reaction Drills: Enhance body awareness and reaction speed through targeted exercises.
  • Teamwork & Passing: Develop court vision and team dynamics through passing and teamwork drills.
  • Game Applications: Fun, engaging games such as red light/green light, team layup challenges, and shooting competitions.

Advanced Level

Advanced sessions take skills to the next level with a stronger emphasis on polishing techniques and understanding the “why” behind each movement. Athletes will focus on:

  • Ball-Handling Polish: Refining advanced dribbling techniques.
  • Shooting Emphasis: Enhanced techniques for consistency and precision in game scenarios.
  • Free Throws & Conditioning: Building mental toughness and endurance at the line and on the court.

Join the SportHQ Basketball Program and take the next step in your basketball journey. Whether you’re developing foundational skills or sharpening advanced techniques, our program is designed to help you grow, compete, and excel on the court. Let’s unlock your full potential!

The Adult Strength and Conditioning class is fantastic. The trainers do a great job leading the group and pushing everyone to improve themselves. The classes are held at several different times every day, so there is plenty of flexibility to fit a class into your schedule. Highly recommend for beginners up to experienced athletes. The trainers will coach you based on your individual ability while still training as a group. Lots of fun.

—Frank Cullen

Graham is a very talented trainer and advisor. We are better every time we work with him. SportHQ is a good facility for him to work in.

—Jack Wells

I like how Taylor helps us through the drill/workout, not just telling us what to do at the beginning, but also correcting our errors throughout the workout.

—Sean Herbst

My children have been coming to SportHQ for years. It did not matter if we were coming for a performance training session, futsal league or summer sports day camp, it was always a great experience.
