Small Group Training

Our small group training at HQ Performance is for anyone ages 7 and up who wants to maximize their athletic potential.  Our Performance Specialists will work closely with groups of 4-8 athletes at a time divided into groups based on age and athleticism.

HQ Performance Groups:

Youth Ages 7-11)
Developmental (ages 12-15)
Prep (ages 16-18)
Elite (College Freshmen - Professional)
– Sports Performance Theory and Terminology
- Basic Strength Training Technique
- Body Weight Strength Development
- Increase Motor Skills and Movement Patterns
- Base level Speed, Plyometrics, and Conditioning
- Introduction to the importance of Flexibility/Nutrition
– Functional Strength
- Intermediate Speed Dynamics
- Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Flexibility
- Basic Plyometrics
- Introduction to Explosive Strength Techniques
– Advanced Linear/Lateral Speed Dynamics
- Sport-Specific Strength
- Advanced Flexibility and Joint Stability/Mobility
- Intermediate Plyometrics
- Explosive and Absolute Strength Training
– Sports Performance Training at the Highest Level

 

During our small group sessions our Performance Specialists will focus on the overall athletic development of the athlete while paying close attention to the principals of LTAD (Long Term Athletic Development), ensuring the athlete is receiving the absolute best age appropriate training.
