Each summer from 2008-2011, Rob spent at least 1 month overseas travelling to youth academies all over Europe and South America to try to learn how players were developed. These findings generated ideas which have all been incorporated into what you see today at SportHQ. Former Yugoslavia, Spain, Brazil, Argentina and Italy were among the nations Rob surveyed who are consistently producing players purchased by the rest of the world to play at their highest level league. His vision was to recreate at SportHQ the environment on display in those nations which produce some of the world’s top soccer, basketball and other athletes.
